Small change can create big impact

Have you heard of the Butterfly Effect?

It is a concept that suggests a small action can lead to significant impact over time.

At Bedford, we’re all about making a positive impact. Our mission is to provide support and employment to the thousands of people living with disability in South Australia by offering them opportunities to develop, grow and learn.

Bedford’s Day Options programs are a vital part of supporting people with disability to live the life they choose. Across seven locations in South Australia, they provide opportunities for achieving goals, building skills and enriching lives.

This tax time, we’re urging you to think about the impact your donation can have on someone’s life. Your tax-deductible contribution helps us to expand our programs, improve accessibility and support clients to increase confidence, social skills, and independence.

Please help us make a difference in the lives of people with disability by donating to our Butterfly Effect Tax Appeal today. Every donation, no matter how small, can have a significant impact on someone’s life.

Impact you can have

This year's appeal is raising much needed funds in both metropolitan and regional South Australia.

Impact you can have in metro Adelaide includes:

Creative Arts
Art and movement allows clients to express their creativity, increase confidence and improve well being. Bedford's pottery and dance classes are extremely popular among Day Options clients.

Technology
Using Virtual Reality (VR) Bedford will introduce programs for teaching spatial awareness and virtual training in skills such as barista machines. VR can also allow people to experience outdoor activities they may not otherwise be able to enjoy.

Accessible Outdoors Program
This new outdoor program aims to provide activities that enable a deeper connection to nature for people with disability in our national parks, reservoir reserves and forest reserves. Programs include:

• Guided walks
• Campfire & marshmallow cooking
• Wildflower discovery
• Fossicking for gems and gold
• Geocaching
• Kayaking
• Snorkelling

Regional Spaces

Help us make our regional sites more inviting spaces to learn, connect and enjoy.

Thank you for your generous contribution to Bedford. Your donation will make a positive impact in the lives of people living with disability.
