About the Role

This full-time, permanent role is located at our Panorama site and reports to the Manager, Data and Applications. It works closely with a new team which is being developed as part of Bedford’s capability strategy which includes a Business Analyst, Software Engineer and Applications Specialist. The role involves leadership of IT projects from initiation to completion, collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure all implementation and improvement projects align with overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • developing change management plans to support the business
  • managing project teams, stakeholders, vendors, and internal members to ensure successful project execution
  • defining project requirements, goals, and deliverables aligned with business objectives
  • identifying and managing project risks, issues, and dependencies, developing contingency plans
  • monitoring project progress, delivering quality outcomes on time and within budget, and communicate effectively with stakeholders


About You

As an experienced Project Manager, you will be an effective leader capable of inspiring and motivating teams to achieve project goals. You will be able to understand and translate the needs of the business and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, while your methodical approach, adaptability, and resilience will enable you to navigate challenges and setbacks effectively. Previous exposure to Microsoft technologies including Dynamics, Business Central and Azure, as well as knowledge of the complexities of the NDIS are a bonus, but not essential.

Other skills and experience include:

  • demonstrated experience as an IT Project Manager, successfully delivering projects from initiation to completion
  • excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, team management, and progress monitoring
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder collaboration
  • proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritise tasks efficiently
  • proficiency in problem-solving, risk management, and familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies

For this role the following documents must be provided prior to a formal offer of employment with Bedford Phoenix Incorporated:

  • a National Police Clearance (gained no more than six months ago)
  • an NDIS worker screening clearance (or other suitable clearance to work in the disability sector)
  • evidence of right to work in Australia
  • a current and full Driver’s Licence
