About the Role

This full-time, permanent role is located at our Panorama site and reports to the Manager, Data and Applications. It works closely with a Project Manager and is part of a new team being developed as part of our capability strategy. The role involves evaluating software solutions, design alternatives and recommending improvements to meet business needs. It is required to develop comprehensive test plans while collaborating with stakeholders, conducting user acceptance testing and providing ongoing support, ensuring successful project delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, bridging the gap between business units and the IT team
  • identifying, developing, and documenting business requirements aligned with strategic objectives
  • creating comprehensive documentation for business processes and system design
  • analysing current and future operational needs, seeking opportunities for efficiency improvement
  • facilitating workshops, explore software solutions, and make recommendations for addressing business issues and enhancing processes


About You

As an experienced Business Analyst, you will have up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. You will thrive in a collaborative environment and have a focus on delivering outcomes within tight deadlines. You will have an ability to speak technically to other IT professionals in your team and external vendors, but can also explain complex ICT concepts to users in non-technical terms. Previous exposure to Microsoft technologies including Dynamics, Business Central and Azure, as well as knowledge of the complexities of the NDIS are a bonus, but not essential.

Other skills and experience include:

  • proven experience in a business analyst role delivering tech solutions aligned with business needs
  • strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder collaboration
  • expertise in business process modelling, SDLC methodologies, and requirements gathering
  • experience in cross-functional teams, and skilled in multitasking and prioritisation

For this role the following documents must be provided prior to a formal offer of employment with Bedford Phoenix Incorporated:

  • a National Police Clearance (gained no more than six months ago)
  • an NDIS worker screening clearance (or other suitable clearance to work in the disability sector)
  • evidence of right to work in Australia
  • a current, full Driver’s Licence
