Some exciting news - Bedford was recently named the 2017 Workability International photo competition winner! Photographer Michael Mullan snapped our winning entry, featuring Michael Todd from APG.
Here's what the judge had to say:
"This photo tells a clear story. I absolutely love that this photo shows the subject working in the moment, as a part of the work force. I love that the other person in the photo is also doing similar work-- it is important to me that people with disabilities in the workforce be treated equally. To me, this photo shows that to a tee.
I have a strong emotional response to this photo. I love the expression in the subject's face, as if the camera has just caught his eye. He looks proud and happy. He looks like he belongs.
Finally, the quality of this photo is the highest, in my opinion. The outdoor setting makes for beautiful lighting, and the composition allows for a wonderful amount of focus on the subject."
